Based in the Whitsundays since 1999, Deborah Lewis specialises in business development in the tourism and marine sectors, to ensure growth and sustainability.

With a Business Degree and Training qualifications, Deborah has extensive experience in project management, market research and analysis, strategic planning and policy development, issues management and media relations.

Working closely with various Queensland-based tourism operators, Deb has been recognised for her capabilities in building solid partnerships across industry, government, community and marketplace sectors.

Her underpinning experience in accounting, sociology, organizational psychology, economics and industrial relations, gives her a leading edge in tourism business development.She currently represents tourism and marine on various forums to address operational and environmental best prac

tice, climate change, ecotourism, regional development, marine and island park management, competency based training and marine safety.

Deborah holds board positions on behalf of the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association, the Whitsunday Bareboat Operators Association and Enterprise Whitsundays.
